In today’s episode I bring you a reflection of what is to be in a slump and how to get out of it.
To be in a slump is to be in a period where you are stuck with your life not being able to move forward with what you want to do. Whether it is to be doing something new, creating new habits, or getting rid of old ones. You know, like starting to go to the gym, eating better, being more productive in your free time, producing content…
In the audio I share with you my personal story of what has happened to me in this podcast journey and how I’ve got to be in a slump after I came back to the island that I’m from (Gran Canaria) after traveling and volunteering, where I recorded the first four episodes. With the intention of giving you an insight of what has been going on inside me so maybe that can help you as well.
Some of the ideas to get out of a slump is to connect with your purpose, whatever that is, and I explain how it can greatly help to have a purpose in order to get out of a slump. Also about the resistances and old habits that you may have that are keeping you in the comfort zone and away from achieving your current goals.
It’s hard to give you a magic formula on how to overcome a situation like this, but I share with you some of the things that have worked for me. So I hope that I brought you value if you listened to the episode.
